I really tried to approach this with no prejudice. I really did. I read it from start to finish in a sitting. I worked out all the threads and strands and the various relationship of sisters in it. I marvelled at the medical sub-plot woven into it. I got more irritated with the writing as I keep hearing the author's voice whining on and on and then I got turned off by the excessive use of "I" in almost every paragraph and then I really wish I had aborted the reading.
