The Lover's Dictionary: A Novel

The Lover's Dictionary - David Levithan It's a book for the Wikipedia, short attention span readers of the 21th century.

'Chapters' are arranged alphabetically in the form of 'definitions' which are expanded in a paragraph or more.

It's breezy and you find yourself smiling at the definitions (or at least how one would express it) but it does feel like colourful macaroons. It's dazzling and you take many bites at different pieces but ultimately it's not very filling and there's a lot of empty calories which isn't really good for you as a reader.

There's a love story in there, but it's up to you to decide if you really care for it.
