Gave it a chance (3 books later) but the authors (why pretend it's Lore when it's common knowledge this series was written by a collective) seems to mistaken heaps of dialogue as action (as with a lot of other YA series which really shouldn't be published, including this one) There is such a flatness to the plotting and everything/every action is described to the point of being banal.
I read through it in 3 hours and in the end, nothing registered, despite me liking the 1st book and second.
Time to abandon the series for me. *shaking fist at James Frey*
