I liked it as it wasn't all 'sweetness and sorrow' like all sibling-relationship type novel (enough with the missing brother/sister plotline) and there was an edge to the tale between the protagonist and her "sister", Fern and in a way, it questions how 'human' and 'humane' we truly are. Thoughtful novel.
